2 settimane in CAMBOGIA come volontario per l’evento “Arts for Peace”

Work

Volunteers will help to assist in organizing events, preparing stages, taking care of the booth during exhibition, have the place of event organized, selling the event tickets and more…

Accomodation and food

3 meals (breakfast, lunch, & dinner) per day will be provided for volunteers. Volunteers will have lunch at the event site therefore, lunch box will be served. Breakfast and dinner will be in Cambodian dishes and various from time to time. Volunteers will stay at Prasat Rath guesthouse. Volunteers will stay in the share rooms where there are pillow, blanket, and bathroom inside each room.

Location and leisure

CYA is a non – profit and non – governmental organization which has not received funding from funding agencies or government therefore, to be enable to operate, volunteers are asking to pay participation fee of US$ 220.00. The participation fee is payable upon arrival (first day of the camp). The participation fee is covered: food & accommodation, local transportation during the project, and other materials cost.

Project hosted by

CYA has an honor to be part of a great event “Arts for Peace” festival which will hosted by Cambodian Living Arts (CLA). This event marks the dual occasion of the 20th anniversary of CLA and the 40th anniversary of the end of Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. Cambodian Youth Action (CYA) is happy to call for volunteers those who are interested in amazing learning about culture and arts of Cambodia. The festival will bring local and international attention to the impact of arts in Cambodia over the last 40 years, by celebrating work by 3 generations of artists and organizations to preserve, revive, and develop arts in Cambodia. A public program of exhibitions, talks and screenings will give people the opportunity to engage with the work of the many artists and organizations involved in the Cambodian cultural sector. A performing arts program will draw from CLA’s work past and present, from revivals of early commissions in traditional forms, to new writing for theatre and innovative contemporary dance.
